 Lightscape is dedicated to:
Expanding interest in, knowledge of, and engagement with global current events through photojournalism.

We do this by i) organizing the annual World Press Photo exhibition,
ii) bringing together leading organizations from throughout Washington DC to tell the stories behind the photographs
iii) inspiring students to better understand, and help shape, their communities, county and the world.

We are independent, non-partisan, welcome all people, and encourage informed discussion among all points of view.
